math for whatevers

love math? hooray!
hate math? screw you, ha jk; the following formulas and mathematics are very useful when stuck in a rut.
i will warn you, it is VEEEEEEEEEERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRY long.

MATH:
the numbers 1-100 added together? 1050, think 100 +0, 99+1, 98+2,
etc.

having trouble with math? try these tips and simple formulas WARNING! THESE FORMULAS MAKE MAKE YOU S*** YOURSELF! HAHA! :

trying to see if something is divisble by 1-10?
0. nothing is divisible by 0, as in if you divide by it youll get an "undefined" answer
1. everything is divisible by 1, with the only exception being 0
2: if the number ends in a 0, 2, 4, 6, or an 8
3: if the total numbers add to 3, 6, or 9
4: multiply the number by 2.5 and if the answer is divisble by 10 (if it ends in a 0)
5: if it ends in a 5 or a 0
6: if its divisble by 2 and 3
8: if you can divide it by 2 and the result is divisble by 4.
9: if the total numbers add to 9
10. if it ends in a 0, of course technically everything divides by 10, just move the decimal to the left one place

and my favorite:
11. past the 10's:
take the same number, stack the original on top, place the same number and place it below the first namber and one digit to the left:
11x11=
  11
110
-----
121
11x21346
  213460
213460
+
----------
234806

want to make math easier?
like problems like this:

90x25+21x50=? seems hard right? heres the same problem, but less complicated: 22.5x100+10.5x100=? now multiply then add: 2250+1050=3300. ten times as fast, i just divided one side and multiplied the other by 2 till the problem was simple enough to do in my head. you want it the hard way? 90x25=2250, 21x50=1050, 2250+1050=3300. now if you did the problem the way it was written, youd be spending countless time on something that could just take a few seconds if you just cut the numbers down.

0 and 1 are obvious, but there are simple ways to multiply the other numbers. ill list all of them, but i dont need to go past 9 because of the tenth factor.
first the tenth factor:
if you know the formula for multiplying up to at least 10, you know how to multiply all the way to infinity. how? well it turns out that after 9 numbers start repeating. just take the number youre multiplying by and add it to the beginning. check it:
9x2=18, 9x12=108 (add 9 and 1 and place in front of the 8), more complicated: 9x132=? or iiis iit? heres how: extend everything out starting at the far right: 9x2=18, now theres a 3, so put 3 9's together:
9x3=27, then theres one 9 left: 9x1=9. now add from left to right: 27+1=28, 9+2=11, now put the numbers in order from right to left: 1188, and thats the answer. heres easier examples, look for the patterns:

1x2=2, 1x12=(1)2
2x2=4, 2x12=(2)4
3x2=6, 3x12=(3)6
4x2=8, 4x12=(4)8

Heres a harder example:
554x336, well that looks like it would take all day. It would and you would waste tons of paper, but not if you did it with the tenth factor. Simply reverse-reverse the problem:

554x3=1662
554x3=1662
554x6=3324

Index: 6
-000336
+003324
+016620
+166200
-----------------
+186144, so 554x336=186144

Doing the math is easy because I used the same two numbers for the first two in the set on both numbers. The third is simply the previous two answers added.

Now figure the other three sets out, remember that you cannot add numbers and then multiply. i actually tried that when first discovering how this technique worked and was runing numbers higher than a group of high school dropouts, no offense. you must keep the multiple at a one digit index or the answer will be completely wrong. And you cannot add numbers. I don’t feel like wasting my life away multiplying it all out because you have to do each number individually. I will give the correct answers though so you can check. Again I made it easy and gave you the same number twice, so you actually have half the problem solved for you.

336x5=1680
336x5=1680
336x4=1344
3x4=12
3x4=12
6x4=24

336x554 is actually186144, but could you imagine spending the time multiplying down the page? 6 sets of numbers that you must multiply and then add extra numbers and then put in the zeroes. then finally add everything and see if youre right. if you get lucky youll pull it off on the first try. if you get one number wrong youll be out of paper and patience in a fairly short period of time. keep matches handy and pray it gets chilly.

Now to understand the complexity of how you have to add these, you need to know the answers index number. That is, the number of digits in the number itself. In multiplication the digit 3x3=9, but index wise the number of digits is always the total number of digits used in the original problem. 554=3 digits, 336=3 digits. Now add 3+3=6, so 6 digits. So use the following as a reference when adding:
-000554
+001344
+016800
+168000
---------------------------

+186144, looking familiar?
so 336x554=186144

yeah you get the same answer any way you multiply no matter which number is chosen. The “+” sign means that the set of index numbers following it are INCLUDED in the problems calculation. The “-“ sign is simply the index value of the number your multiplying by. AKA the total number of digits in the number that will exist AFTER its multiplied. Now doesn’t that look ALOOOOOT shorter than what they teach you in class?

Now go and get up in front of your math teacher and challenge them in a race to multiply some made up pair of ridiculously long numbers that have repeating digits. Feel free to make a bet if you feel like youre skilled enough at this. I INVENTED IT! So if you even try to show this to anyone as your own work I will not hesitate to come kick your butt and then sue the crap out of you. I wear size 13’s and steel toe fits very well. Now go show this to your teachers and anyone who thinks theyre better than
you at math. I bet your math teacher would crap their pants if they saw a lowly student pull this onto the board. And if you do use it I would love to hear how people reacted. So you have my permission to show this to others, but remember that ITS MY WORK AND MY CREATION that invented it. You have no idea how much of a pain it is to run statistics without even using one graphing calculator or Microsoft excel. Yeah im that good. SO GO HAVE FUN AND MAKE SOME SMART A** S***
THEMSELVES! HAHA!!

More fun, dividing fractions out by hand:
Simply keep adding zeroes till you get a set of numbers that either repeats or stops. 3/4? 3 divided by 4? God it sounds sooo hard to do by hand! Just use the dividing power of 4.
3x2.5=7.5, divide by 10 and you get .75, Or you could do the long handed way:
3/4=.75, 4x?=3, 4x1? No. 4x0? No. so now what? KEEP ADDING ZEROES!!
3/4 becomes 3.0/4, look at it like this: 30/4=7, 28.
So 30-28=2, hmm 2/4 simplifies to 1/2, and since 2 cant go into 1, ADD A DAMN ZERO!!
NOW: 10/2=5
So now that you’ve multiplied by 10 twice you have a total of 2 extra 0’s, but theyre on the wrong side. Put the 7and the 5 together and you end up with 75. Now divide by 100 so that you undo your changes. Now what are you left with? .75, its as simple as that. JUST ADD ZEROES!!!

multiplying by 0:
everything is 0
dividing by 0:
undefined or impossible

multplying by 1:
number is itself
dividing by 1:
number is itself.
multiplying by 2:
just add the number to itself, or to be more complex you can use the 4 multiplication property, but before you multiply divide the number youre dividing by 2. this can become problematic as you can have a number such as 6 that divides into an odd number, 3. then the problem goes from multiplying even to multiplying odd. its easier to just simply add the number to itself. you can divide the number by 2 and then use the 4 multiplication property. of course if youre multiplying by something 483647934 then doing that becomes a hell that would make your brain want to short circut.
dividing by 2:
cut the number in half, or multiply by 5 and divide by 10.

multipling by 3:
if even: simply use the property in multiplying by 6, but divide by two first.

multiplying by 4:
if even: divide by 2 then subtract 1 from answer, end by adding what gets 9.
ex. 4x8=? 8/2=4, 4-1=3, heres the fun part: 4+(3)+?=9, (2), so 4x8=32
ex. 4x6=? 6/2=3, 3-1=2, soo: 3+(2)+?=9, (4), so 4x6=24
ex. 4x2=? 2/2=1, an exception being the only number
you dont have more than one digit, 1+8=9, so 4x2=8. of course if you want to avoid all these complicated formulas like a wuss you can simply multiply times
two and then add the number to itself.
ex. 2x2=4, 4+4=8, 4x2=8
ex. 3x2=6, 6+6=12, 4x3=12
ex. 9x2=18, 18+18=36
alot simpler.
dividing by 4:
oh this is fun, simply multiply times 2.5 and then divide by 10. or get
complicated and multiply by 25 and divide by 100.

for multiplying by 5:
divide the number by 2 and multiply by 10 (or in the case of a decimal, move to the right one place.)
ex. 5x2=? 2/2=1, 1x10=10.
ex. 5x25=? 25/2=12.5, 12.5x10=125
this ones cool: 5x1=? 1/2=.5, .5x10=5
isnt math getting fun now that you know all this? hehe.
dividing by 5:
just move the decimal to the left one place and multiply by 2.
ex. 65/5=? 65.0 -> 6.5 -> 6.5x2=13
ex. 25/5=? 25.0 -> 2.5 -> 2.5x2=5

multiplying by 6:
even: divide the number by 2 and add to the beginning.
ex. 6x4=? 4/2=2, 6x4=(2)4. it works with any even number, dont believe me?
ex. 6x22=? 22/2=11, 11+2=13, 6x22=132. go ahead and challenge my logic, i DARE you.
odd: take the number youre multiplying by and add 5, then add the previous number to the beginning (starting at 0).
ex. 6x1=?, 1+5=6, 6x1=(0)6
ex. 6x11=?, 11+5=16, (1)+5=6, 6x11=66
heres how the table of numbers goes:
1=+0
3=+1
5=+2
7=+3
9=+4
11=+5
13=+6
15=etc.

multiplying by 8:
if you know 4 you know 8.
If even simply divide by 2 and then use the same property 4 uses.

multiplying by 9s?
a number below 11: subtract 1, below 21: subtract 2, below 31: subtract 3, etc. then add what it takes to get to 9.
example: 9x7=? 7-1=6, 6+3=9, 9x7=63
example: 9x22=? 22-3=19, 1+9=10, 1+8=9, 9x22=198
extreme example: 9x122=? 122-13=109, 1+9=10, 1+8=9, 9x122=1098
think im wrong? go ahead and check. want a table?
0-10=-1
11-20=-2
21-30=-3
31-40=-4
41-50=-5
51....=etc. etc
however when you pass the line and enter another digit, you must also add aother digit.
111-120=-20
ex. 111x9=? 111-20=91, 9+1=10, 1+?=9;8.
now you add that 8 and get 99, but because you have passed the second digit placement, you must insert that number to the right of the 9. this achieves a correct answer of 999, and the property of nine times one-hundred-and-eleven is nine-hundred-and-ninety-nine. thats math english for 9x111=999!

multiplying by 10:
just take the number youre multiplying by and add a 0.
ex. 2x10=? 2(0)
dividing by 10:
Simply move the decimal one place to the left.

multiplying by 11:
add the last number to the one before it
ex. 11x11=?
take 11, keep the first number the same (1). add the next number (1)+1=2. keep the last number (1). 121
ex. 11x12432=?
1, 1+2, 4+2, 3+4, 3+2, 2......136752
its so easy you could do it while asleep, LITERALLY.

Well that’s all I got for now. If you’ve got something to add submit it to me and ill put it up in your name.

etc...it goes on and on and on. i'll say it once, and i'll say it again, everything has a pattern. nothing just "happens", because the universe functions on a pattern that is
deeper than any of us could ever understand. everything happens for a reason, towns are wiped out by storms so they can be rebuilt stronger and become closely
united. people die so we know that the world is functioning, without death we would drain ourselves out of existence like mars. television networks secretly feed us information about legends, myths, mysteries, and doomsday theories, that most viewers dont realize are a patsy that hides a terrible dark secret.
so why put this stuff on the website for the tri-ite? the tri-ite's purpose is to make life easier, safer, happier, and more comfortable to be in. we try to help those in need in any way by giving advice and assistance that helps people through tough times or just helps solve problems. the more you know about the world around you and how it works, the easier life is. heres something that you dont realize about life, circles, triangles, and the golden rectangle make up everything around us. everything is just 2/3 the size of the next larger part of it, aka. the "golden rectangle theory". it is a rectangle that is always 2/3 less no matter how many times you cut it in half. the limbs on animals and humans, plants, even the shift, caps lock, and tab keys on the very keyboard youre using now. go ahead an look at it, look at your fingers, look at a cd or
dvd, even at your tires on your bike or car. all in segments, each 2/3 that of the previous. coincidence? call it what you want, but even nature confines into a consistant pattern the same way. look at politics, 2/3 majority on a vote and it passes. even elections and the simplest of clubs require a 2/3 majority vote before a motion can be passed. why would the smartest people in the world chose a voting method suiting the golden rectangle perfectly? washington dc is truly where the biggest dicks take home, and new york city is where the biggest dicks are grown.
how could the entire world exist in such harmony, yet be in such chaos? how could such perfection be caused or created by mere science? where the truth lies, we may never know, but the world will be there to surprise us till the end of time. next time youre outside, LOOK AROUND. if you believe what you cant see and trust what you do not know, you will see what you cant believe and know what not to trust.
