"Tree boner"
So what is a tree boner? That's when you are attempting to decorate your Christmas trees and when you go to place the star on top and there is a large section of tree randomly sticking out on top. Now to fix a situation like this you would normally trim the top of the tree. But in reality this is not pruning but rather the neutering of your tree, the trunk being the dock and the pine cone the balls.
