mind games episode 1 [riddles, can you solve them?]

1. if you send rats into a maze to find cheese and you lock them in, is it still a maze?

2. if the odds of getting heads or tails on a coin is 50% each flip then what are the odds of it landing on its side? [cause it totally hapens...]

3. you go up, its red, down, its yellow. if you go right, its white, left, its black. if you stay in the center, what color is it?

4. 1, 8, 16, 24, ? what is the next number? and what three things does this object have in common?

5. you flip four coins. two land flat with one flipping over after landing, one lands on its side, and the last rolls away. what are the correct odds [ie. what are the odds each coin will land on the respective sides?] for all four coins, listing which landed on heads, tails, and the side? [hint: this answer can be found in the answer to #2, and this has more than one part to each answer.]

if the september 11. 2001 terrorist attacks [911,9/11] happened in todays time

OK yes this seems like it would be controversial, and if you didn't want to be upset or think about it then WHY DID YOU CLICK THE DISCLAIMER?
but when the attacks happened the Internet was accessible, but many people did not have computers with wifi built in as back then this was rare and expensive to do on the go. also no smart phones. in todays era, however, we can access the Internet from nearly ANYTHING to post to social media, youtube, and other sources.
if the attacks were to happen literally less than 12 years later [when more people had phones with Internet access and wifi capable laptops] then the people on the planes would have been able to post about their final moments. the sheer trauma from those who experienced the crash first hand is massive, and just imagine if the WHOLE WORLD were to see the things people were posting on social media as it happened. this would be basically like the new ring movie, only with trauma instead of death worldwide.
the biggest and most terrifying thing? the last thing you see at the top of your best friend, family member, co-worker, or neighbors social media is something like, "this is it for me, i am going to die." this is made worse by all the people posting things like this already for attention and to be Internet trolls. due to insensitive trolls and selfish people using death as an empty threat to get attention, many would disregard these status updates.
plus with the little a**holes who "need a safe space" cause they are so easily upset going "hey that post offends me cause its about death" or whatever. while there are REAL PEOPLE who actually NEED a friggin safe space [Howie Mendel, those struggling with mental illness, people with anxiety disorders, and people weak to disease]. then the PC people come in like, "he man you cant say things like that". "wait bro did you just use a gender conformitive term?" "oh sh*t guy, you just did it too!"
this might even spark debates on whether it would be appropriate to "remove" the last minute posts from those who were experiencing the events of the attacks at the time. as many would want them gone cause having upwards of over 3000 facebook, myspace, and YouTube members posting their final epitaphs ALL OVER their media would be rather terrifying and uncomfortable. but others would want to preserve them for the memories of these people.
fact is the attack was horrific, but if it had happened LESS than a decade later after the introduction of smart phone Internet technology [2006 or so when facebook was created and founded and yes i checked I'm right], it would have been a WORLDWIDE catastrophe. social media is worldwide and facebook was created in 2006, around the same time cellphone technology enabled users to access the Internet freely without the need of wifi.
if i offend anyone i am sorry, but i felt like this was an interesting topic to cover. if people can make blog posts about some jackass who believes [GENUINELY] that he can teleport using a network named after a flying horse, then i think that the 9/11 attacks are fair game [and frankly a better more realistic subject that doesn't make you question at what point this persons brain LEFT HIS BODY.]

mewtwo vs. frieza who wins? [the answer is shocking]

[edit 11212017]
just a side note: due to some people getting confused by the order in which i had originally written this i had to take the section about the moves and move it ABOVE the section about power levels. cause apparently mentioning a second topic in the middle of another and then going back to the same previous topic makes you forget the first. error on my part, specially since friezas power levels werent listed till waaaaay after mewtwos attack list [which ALL DBZ CHARACTERS HAVE].
oh and for the record i never said mewtwo BEATS frieza in the fight anywhere in here. not once actually, but i do say this is a good reason why mewtwo could at least give frieza a challenge. or just use his superior intellect to find the dragonballs, teleport, and make a wish, but again i covered that cause its just a "saitama".
that said here we go

ok well everyoe says frieza. but lets say this is done like a battle is always done in dbz. lets say mewtwo is a pokemon fighting pokken tournement style [which for anyone who doesnt know is a hand to hand dbz style combat videoa game] against frieza:
[edit 11212017-2]
frieza: you are but an ant compared to me.
mewtwo: {btw i found all the dragonballs and made a wish}
frieza: ha, you c- wait what?
mewtwo: {yep}
frieza: by any chance you didnt wish for imortality, did you?
mewtwo:{are you retarded? why waste a wish on that when i could still be hurt, aged, transformed, or  sent back in time?}
frieza: well then, what DID you wish for?
mewtwo: [long silence as they stare each other down] {your destruction!}
[no thats just too convenient]

mewtwo can learn disable, gravity, psychic, teleport, and other moves. but the most important here is the move "foul play". with a base physical 95 attack stat. why the F*ck does this even matter? FOUL PLAYS DAMAGE IS BASED OFF THE OPPONENTS ATTACK STAT.
and dbz DOES INDEED have attack stats represented by power levels.
ok first ill list mewtwos lvl 100 base stats and its mega y stats. why mega y? im about to explain.
first a list of important moves for fighting frieza:
all this can be found here:
https://www.serebii.net/pokedex-sm/150.shtml
Laser Focus: The user concentrates intensely. The attack on the next turn always results in a critical hit.
Miracle Eye: Enables a Dark-type target to be hit by Psychic-type attacks. This also enables an evasive target to be hit.
foul play: The user turns the target's power against it. The higher the target's Attack stat, the greater the move's power.
snatch: The user steals the effects of any attempts to use a healing or stat-changing move.
these are important as they are 100% viable as dbz combat moves that have NOTHING to do with pokemon.
other moves that could be viable are:
aura sphere: he user lets loose a blast of aura power from deep within its body at the target. This attack never misses.
me first: The user cuts ahead of the target to copy and use the target's intended move with greater power. This move fails if it isn't used first.
trick room: The user creates a bizarre area in which slower Pokémon get to move first for five turns.
[yes trick room involves effecting pokemon, and mewtwo is STILL a pokemon here. but this is NOT a pokemon battle.]
ok why these moves specfically for mewtwos combat profile? trick room will allow him to move faster then frieza, me first following up means mewtwo can use friezas moves agaisnt him before frieza can even attack, aura sphere chases its target till it strikes. snatch could be used to steal friezas transformations before he could even use them, and the other three ill save for last [miracle eye, laser focus, and foul play]
ok so now onto why using a move like trick room might be useless: in dbz speed and attack are both determined by power level. and this technique would only work in a limited area that frieza could probably just escape. but the purpose of trick room is because mewtwo is STILL a pokemon and thus would be the only one effected. it may work like a mind game where frieza thinks, "hey ill just flee outside its range". or hell try to one shot mewtwo.
but if mewtwo pulls of trick room he will INSTANTLY have his speed and thus his power level boosted to a higher level then friezas current one. wait, that sounds familiar, who else has a stat boosting move that increases the users power leve- OH F**KING GOKU WITH KAIO KEN. so yeah in the dbz universe mewtwo would basically get an uber powered version of gokus kaio ken power with trick room. whether it would boost attack as well i cannot say, but in dbz power level DOES correlate to speed.
the primary purpose of trick room would be for the speed so as to allow mewtwo to move on par with friezas attack speed. thus allowing him to use techniques like me first to use friezas moves againsnt him with higher power or blind him with aura spheres to set up combo attacks.
the better use would be to make mewtwo fast enough so as to use snatch in the case frieza tries to transform which [if i remember heals him and does change his stats]. what snatch would do is allow frieza to transform, but steal any boosts to his attack or speed or healing that is done when he does. this would turn friezas transformations against him.
but the huge thing that would just DESTROY frieza in a fight against mewtwo is the move foul play after the moves miracle eye and laser focus are used. which btw all have like infinite accuracy and cannot be dodged. so once miracle eye is used frieza could move at ftl, but it would not matter since mewtwo would be able to hit him ANYWHERE he went. follow with laser focus and the next hit is critical. why does this setup make foul play so useful?
first lets cover mewtwos sum stat total [or what his power level would be in dbz]
normal:
hp: 416
atk: 287
def: 251
spec atk: 366
spec def: 251
spd: 323
total power level: 1694
the reason why i can choose the highest [or lowest stats in this case for attack] is cause this is a dbz battle and natures therfore DO NOT EXIST. meaning that only power levels, techniques, moves, and tactics matter. and you may be wondering, "why the f*ck would you choose the lowest stats possible? and why didnt you divide them out?" well this is dbz, and here power levels are the total sum of ones full potential. and the lower the stats the batter the odds for foul play.
[edit 11212017-4]
the other reason for listing stats is so you can see how i got the total for mewtwos power level, which in dbz is the, "an estimation of that person's physical capability." found here in the dragon ball z wikia:
http://dragonball.wikia.com/wiki/Power_level
this means it is the combined stats of speed, atk, def, and [in a maybe case health, cause that has to calculate in]. since power levels exist ONLY in the dbz universe metweos sum stat total would be his power level as that is his combined stats. i really dont know why i needed to add this, but apparently some people couldnt understand how basic math works [or whatever].
well theres ACTUALLY a way to calculate the REAL dbz story damage mewtwo would do when he set up this combo attack. and started with trick room mewtwo would already be on par with friezas speed so he COULD tartget and hit him with it.
the calculator for attacks is found here:
https://pokemondb.net/pokebase/149687/how-is-damage-calculated
[edit: 11212017-3]
[in case you wonder why i left out the last part, there are no types so the second half of the equation is basically like adding blind zeroes.]
for this calculation we only need pure raw attack power. since foul play literally works on only attack power.
according to the dragonball wiki friezas first forms power level is a whopping: 530,000
in the pokemon anime foul play is seen used by an inkay as a kind of counter attaxck where it throws the enemy. and its detailed bulbapedia description states that its basically an inverted punch that results in all the force being directed towards the target.
so you need to know this formula for calculating foul plays move power:
(2 [Level] / 5 + 2) [AttackStat] x [AttackPower] / [DefenseStat]) / 50) + 2
for the sake of making things make sense. [since pokemon levels dont exist and this is a battle between attack power] the levels of mewtwo and frieza will both be 100, the attackstat and defensestat will be friezas power level and mewtwos base stat total, and the attackpower will be the base damage foul play does at default.
the reason why the other half of the formula is left out is cause this is NOT A POKEMON BATTLE. so there are no types to calculate here. so below is the completed formula listing mewtwos power level and friezas power level.
[100] / 5 + 2) [530,000] [95] / [1694]) / 50) + 2
and this:
is what i got. thirteen-thousand-seventy-nine damage. multiply that times two. ok, thats ONE HIT. ONE FREAKING HIT. then mewtwo can just spam foul play, and in dbz there IS NO PP. so mewtwo can just repreatedly hit freizas base form for a NORMAL attack using foul play in dbz combat universe for 13,000 damage EACH HIT MOVING AT THE SAME SPEED AS FRIEZAS FORM. this means punching ftl, do you know how many times you can strike an enemy in a 10 second period moving ftl speeds? watch ten seconds of the freeza-goku fight and imagine each of gokus punches doing 13k damage to frieza each time they strike and leaving no recoill for the puncher. go ahead and count.

this is damage not power levels, ok? and this is comparing base attack stats. if mewtwo were to use moves that LOWERED its attack even further foul play would only get stronger.
now i may even be underestimating the damage here as the second part of the equation includes this "random number" thing i have never heard of.
foul play combined with miracle eye, snatch, and trick room would allow mewtwo to WRECK FRIEZAS ASS. this is some one punch man level sh*t here. and even if snatch failed to steal friezas higher forms stats or heals foul play only gets stronger and trick room can just keep mewtwo on speed par the whole fight.
and if trick room functioned to increase power level so that mewtwows was higher than friezas then forget it, friezas could be freaking jesus and mega raquaza combined and mewtwo would just use trick room and surpass his stats.
[edited 11212017]
this is all theoretical considering its two different universes and would never happen, however my arguement is pretty valid and backed up with references and facts. and i also limited the conditions of this fight so that it ONLY functions in a manner that would work in dbz. and that move damage calculation is iffy since nobody would explain whether you multiplied the values or what. so i used algebra to try to figure out how it "SHOULD" work.
i believe the movepool i chose is also reasonable since they could very much transfer to dbz as combat moves and techniques.
though this would make an aweseome premis for the next super smash game. have a contest to put a few non-nintendo characters in it. with the list consiting of dbz, digimon, castlevania, fmab, one punch [no just kidding], one piece, destiny 2, and other games and tv. have a campaign where fans vote on a list from each and the top 3-5 [seems a resonable number] get put in the game.
[edit 11212017-2]
aaaand I AM AN IDIOT. if this really were a fight mewtwo with his hyper intelligence would have just gathered the dragon balls and wished to destroy frieza. but yeah that is the same for anyone, even yamcha. yeah try to get THAT image out of your head.

pokemon xd easter egg

so if you played pokemon xd gale of darkness you may have seen that you could do several ingame trades that had rather odd moves. im only covering odd movesets, and will add more later.
trade a togepi for an elekid knowing all the elemental punches [fire/ice/thunder] and cross chop
trade for a larvitar knowing dragon dance and outrage
ok why are these two significant? becuase they were most likely easter eggs to prepare these pokemon for generation IIII [diamond/pearl/platinum]. think about it, how the hell is a physical attacker like larvitar going to make use of a special move like outrage? and dragon dance adds nothing to this. UNLESS, it was to prepare larvitar for the fact that outrage [in gen IIII] became a PHYSICAL move.
as for elekid, why would this be a preperation for gen IIII? well it was also for breeding to pokemon like gastly, abra, other electabuzz, magmar, and other special fighters that could take advantage of the punching trio moveset upon breeding. but electabuzz can also breed with most known fighting types and chain breed those punches to pokemon who would have no use for them [with elekids cross chop being the only useful move really].
unless, of course, those moves were [oh, i dont know] CHANGED to physical attacks upon entering gen IIII games. now what evolution was released in gen IIII games? magmortar, dusknoir, and ELECTIVIRE. for anyone who doesnt know electivire was electabuzz' evo form and elekids third evo, released in diamond/pearl/platinum. and this beast is a pure raw physical attacker capable of learning earthquake [being the first pure electric type to be able to do so in recorded history].
the fact that all three punching moves became physical in gen IIII and the addition of cross chop probably meant that they were hinting that you should transfer the evolved electabuzz to generation IIII. but the really big hint that they were planning for this for most of the pokemon in xd gale of darkness, was the inclusion of munchlax and bonsly in the game. thats right, pokemon not released til gen IIII and pre-evolutions of snorlax and sudowoodo were included in a gen III game. even the mystery dungeon gen III games made reference to pokemon in the same manner like weavile, lucario, and others.
oddds are the developpers intended to have players transfer pokemon from xd gale of darkness to diamond/pearl/platinum, and elekid and larvitar were easter eggs referencing new pokemone and move changes. plus who played xd and didnt think they would eventually get the munchlax or bonsly as like a gift? i totally thought id get them. plus bonsly is just plain adorable.

pokemon game f**k yous [edit-05172018]2322

ok so here is an example of a few pokemon game f*ck yous. where pokemon learn moves or have aspects that just make no sense.

1. geodude in gen I can learn metronome. ok HOW. THE F**K? i gues maybe the way geodude when they spawn in groups and move they kind of teeter back and forth. but if metronome why not teeter dance?
2. magnemite, voltorb, and the shellder line lerning teleport in gen I. ok this just makes no friggin sense. unless of course we go on my theory that the black face and tounge inside the shellder, closter, and in the vines of a tangela are in fact a gastly that has posessed inanimate objects and evolved to survive in other harsh enviroments OUTSIDE the lavender tower. as this is the ONLY location in gen I where gastly and haunter are found. this explaination makes even more sense when you see that, holy f**k, gastly's evo line can also learn teleport.
3. ultra sun/moon giving trubbish/garbodor the move "automize". where it "sheds a part of its body to increase its speed stat." ok so with trubbush' evo line being a friggin bag of trash, how the f**k does shedding its bag make it faster? or is it more like throwing garbage? and if thats the case isnt that what gunk shot is for? plus trubbish evo line has "weak armor" as an ability. an ability that raises speed two stages and lowers defense one stage when hit by attacks. with already having weak armor, and the idea and image of a living bag of trash littering garbage and s**t everywhere to GAIN SPEED, and the fact that well nobody likes trubbish evo line, i think this was just done as a f**k you to the players.
4. the alteration of tm #28 from dig to leech life. like WHAT. THE HELL. WHERE THEY THINKING? dig is quite possibly the most useful move in the game, having use in the overworld, pvp, and even for pokemon weak to rock, steel, electric, and fire. but for reasons why they removed it: hawlucha, gligars evo's, arceus, type null, the list where a flying type could exploit dig and be immune to BOTH above AND below ground attacks was my best guess to why they removed it.
[edit-05172018]2322
5. mimikyu. just. mimikyu. its name is a pun of mimic-you, it can learn moves that make no sense. x scissor, drain punch, and of all things, WOOD HAMMER. if a pokemon that weighs less than 1 pound uses its body to "slam into the target" its going to look something like this:
and on that note, how exactly does it punch? it has no hands. least to say, whatever is under the rag on its body must be some kind of bug with a special tail.
wait...
unless...
it couldnt be...

the most broken and hardest leader battle in a pokemon game of all time? [totally NOT what youd expect]

ok so i felt that this just needed to be covered. for those of you who fought cynthia youre like, "f**k me! how the hell do i beat her?!" well i found that simply taking advantage of her STARTING with spiritomb was a HUGE advantage on your part. primarily due to the fact that
 1. spiritomb has a limited physical movepool.
 2. she will likely spam sucker punch and make your cry like a bitch.
so what do you do? just use ANY pokemon who has a stat boosting move [either attack+speed like gyarados or swords dance]. then follow up with a powerful priority or high damage move. i literally made a habit of using nothing but scizor/scyther [bullet punch/quick attack+swords dance] to just kill the ENTIRE elite four. [with fire and steel types being exceptions.] and fire red/leaf green brough counter in, meaning you could counter physical attacks from most elite four members.
this same tactic works for cynthia [with virtually any pokemon with swords dance/nasty plot and respective moves]. black 2/white two introduced something fun, ninetails with drought, fire blast, solar beam, nasty plot, dark pulse, and extrasensory as moves. meaning i could use her to JUST. R.A.P.E. cynthias team.
but if you cannot catch and evolve a [syther, sneasel, empoleon, or my favorite, medicham with meditate and bullet punch] or ANY pokemon who can learn swords dance and a priority move, then you can use a FREAKING gyarados. gyarados can learn dragon dance, ice fang, earthquake, and waterfall [odds are you will forget to delete the hm move since you kind of get stuck with a pwn giant f**king waterfall IMMEDIATELY after you finish exiting victory road in diamond, pearl, and platinum].
but getting a gyarados with adamant or a fast speed can allow you to just DESTROY cynthias team. ice fang kills like more than half the team [togekiss, roserade, garchomp] and gyarados' intimidate lowers garchomps attack upon entering battle. [so switch BEFORE she throws it out]. i found that just about ANY gyarados from level 55/56 and up can roughly two shot garchomp with ice fang. and intimidate+gyarados decent hp allows it to live through dragon rush and even stone edge. plus earthquake kills lucario and waterfall can pretty easily kill spiritomb.
but if you set up like two dragon dances taking advantage of spiritombs sheer lack of offensive moves and laugh while it wastes its 5 sucker punches gyarados can just MURDER her team.
this is why i see cynthia as rather simple to beat. just exploit spiritombs first position and lack of offensive moves and use stat boosters.
now gyarados intimidate has an extra feature [that was removed from the heartgold/soulsilver/platinum line upon black and white and on] is my reason for why i choose THIS leader as the hardest you EVER fight. and that is lance the dragon master, and im not referring to lance from rbyg, frlg, gsc, but rather specifically lance from HEARTGOLD and SOULSILVER. and this is due to a rather F**Ked up secondary ability that had a slim chance of activating AFTER intimidate had been used on your pokemon.
this is known as the "instant focus sash" ability that would just "activate" at random, more frequently based off how much your pokemon liked you [seen only again reintroduced in x/y where pokemon with max friendship iv's could just sluff off an attack that might kill it.]
this is not the only reason i say lance from heartgold/soul silver is the hardest leader to beat. what most of you may not know is that in the remakes of gold and silver [heartgold/soulsilver] after first beating lance, each consecutive battle after the first resulted in the npc ACTUALLY LEARNING FROM THE PREVIOUS FIGHT. yeah thats right, ever wondered why in the first fight you just hit dragonite with ice moves and froze it dragomite would just sit there and take it like a little bitch? [or if you were a di*k you use tyranitar and spammed rock slide].
well this is to 1. make the first fight plausible and easier. and 2. because the npc has not had a chance to learn your battle strategy.
well so you try to fight him again, WAIT WHAT THE-?! YOU ASS! YOU START THE FIGHT WITH FREAKING SAFEGUARD?!!! yeah that [believe it or not actually will NOT happen if you just nuke his freaking team the first time. in fact if you try blizzard to one-hit lances team the first time, the second match he will use status moves to slow and weaken you. or of you used a water type the first time he will spam the sh*t out of thunder wave and thunder.
this can make creating an effective battle strategy against lance in heartgold or soulsilver rather difficult because guess what? when you face him YET AGAIN after you get all the KANTO badges [all 16] lances npc will freaking carry over any learned tactics from previous fights against him. and its not a strategy reset, he will just add more and more complicated combinations till you are sitting there like, "WHAT. THE F**K?!!!"
for example i took advantage of lance using gyarados first [which most leader use their weakest pokemon first, allowing the stat boost+priority offense move combo to be DEADLY]. i destroyed his team with scizor, and yes I KILLED CHARIZARD WITH SCIZOR. so i tried the same tactic when i went back the second time, know what the asshat did? the npc swapped to F**KING CHARIZARD after less than two swords dances. so i thought, hey, maybe it was just a one time thing. nope. i battled him a third time, he threw out gyarados, then IMMEDIATELY SWITCHED TO CHARIZARD IN THE FIRST FREAKING TURN. and it just got worse, like at one point [and i swear on this] his FIRST POKEMON OUT was his CHARIZARD. so i was like f**k this sh*t.
oh but that isnt even the most broken thing about the heartgold/soulsilver lance. the LITERALLY MOST broken thing about his team is his gyarados. in itself, its nothing special, and if you remember in the ORIGINAL gold/silver/crystal games you could just use thunderpunch and kill his gyarados. wanna know what happens in the second fight if you use a physical electric move to try to k/o his gyarados in the heartgold/soulsilver remakes? go try it, if you feel like rage quitting.
first, all leaders have like infinite full restores, second lances heartgold/soulsilver gyarados has intimidate [which if you remember has a chance of a focus sash effect AFTER intimidate has already activtated], third lances team and npc LEARNS each time you try to refight him [and yes the pokemons stats actually can even go up so a move that DID one-hit previous battle could fail in the rematch], fourth [and quite possibly the dick move] is that gyarados' intimidates "focus sash" effect EXTENDS TO LANCES WHOLE FRIGGIN TEAM. WHAT. THE. F**K? like you try to use a physical attacker to kill lances team after the first match and they will almost ALWAYS live with 1 hp, then with the limitless supply of full restores and f**king draco meteor and outrage, he will restore their health and kill you SOOO hard that your great great grandchildren need 10 sacred ashes just to null the pain you suffer.
but youd think it ends there? HELL. F**KING. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOscrewlanceiwannahugadragonOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
what is quite possibly the MOST annoying fact about lances heartgold/soulsilver team is that his gyarados has a 100% chance of surviving ANY physical electric move used against it [specially if you used one in the first battle. in fact the more physical moves used to kill lances pokemon the higher likelyhood his pokemon will have that "focus sash" intimidate ability activate. im talking about charizard, a pokemon who is fire and flying, SURVIVING a tyranitars rock slide/stone edge [which in all reality should like SUPERKILL it.]
so guess what? no electabuzz, amphaross, or any pokemon knowing ice punch.
the odds of this stupid "focus sash" effect activating increases exponentially with rematches if you are unlucky enough to get hit by intimidate [which btw lance adds a salamance IN ADDITION to his gyarados after the 16 badges so it goes from an x4 chance to like x8/x16]. what makes even less sense is that white herbs and status resets DO NOT prevent this stupid bullsh*t crom occuring. its like getting aids or bird flu, once you get intimidated youre f*cked.
this is not the only occurance of this though. outside of lances soulsilver/heartgold battles you can see this annoying little bitch of an effect occuring in pvp battles online with arcanine and other pokemone with intimidate [though i have only ever seen it with arcanine].
it is because of these reasons:
1. lances npc learns from each fight and changes tactics and even rosters [sometimes] to counter your previous battle strategies.
2. there is ZERO MENTION that lance actually DOES the things i listed, and only by BATTLING HIM and getting P/O'd can you learn them
3. lances gyarados is like some kind of god gyarados that can survive seemingly ANY physical electric attack used after being intimidated [and even if you switch electivire in AFTER gyarados has wasted intimidate on like you alakazam theres still like almost a 100% chance it will live]
4. the fact that the rate of 1 hp intimidate survival seems to increase the more times intimidate is used and that lance later adds salamance [who is already hard enough to beat.] i mean just imagine you have one pokemon left and it knows blizzard and lance has his last dragonite up with like 25% hp, then you watch it live with 1 freaking hp only to totally f*ck up your WHOLE FIGHT.
5. the fact that the 1 hp survival SERIOUSLY screws with speed runs
6. the obvious OP moveset and stats of lances team in general and sheer lack of the f*cking move everyone spammed in the original games, tm 33: "ice punch"
7. the lack of any truly decent pokemon to par against lances team [with the exception of the extremespeed dratini]
8. lances teams movepool
9. that annoying ass aerodactyl and its f*cking rock slide that flinches
10. the addition of garchomp and salamance [yes i mentioned this, but SERIOUSLY?! GARCHOMP?! SALAMANCE?! THREE F**KING DRAGONITES? and the chance of that annoying ass "focus sash" glitch activating at ANY time. what kind of sadistic asshole decided lances national dex team? like the only way they could have made him a bigger f**k you to the players would be if they added like a raquaza or mega salamance to his team.
11. the obvious big one repeatedly mentioned: that *** damn mother #$%%# *$@# piece of @$% chance of lances pokemon somehow surviving ANY attack [even blizzard] with 1 hp. and the fact that intimidates activation on a physical attacker seemed to like gurantee the activation on at LEAST three of his pokemon. [thats right, theres almost a 100% chance that at least 1-2 of his pokemon will live with 1 hp from some unholy attack you use against it. and the chance seemed higher for charizard, gyarados, and aerdactyl. and at least ONE of his dragonites].

course one reason why lance may be easier in heartgold/soulsilver is the tm "stealth rock". it deal percentage hp damage upon swithing a pokemon in. will drop charizard by 50%, and everyone else but garchomp [duh] by 25%. and what is odd is stealth rock can [SOMEHOW] prevent the 1hp glitch from activating most of the time and allow easier dealing with lance. but odds are youll be one shot by gyarados before setting it up or die after. and btw, dont even try dragon tail/wirlwind and stealth rock cause its just a wasted movepool.
but most people wont think to try stealth rock since the idea of the fight behind lance is this sense of like you just want to, pound the crap out of him. its such a physical fight that you feel like you need to use OP moves to win. so most people might get caught up in the moment and forget about stealth rock. [its like one of those easily forgttable moves till you see it used then youre like, oh.... oh.... well.... sh*t... yeah sorry bout that EVERY FRIGGIN FIRE/FLYING/ICE/BUG POKEMON IN MY PARTY, your ALL DEAD NOW! &*&^*!!!!

pokemon red/blue/yellow/green theory: did mewtwo kill giovanni?

ok so [and you gotta follow me on this], did mewtwo actually kill giovanni and create a psychic projection that was supposed to take his place? or maybe mewtwo took over his mind. but after the rocket game corner encounter giovanni's emotions and attitude get kind of, off. plus he disappears after slyph magically and the ceo hands you the master ball, with a totally nonrealistic reaction for a man who just literally had his entire building [including staff] turn to try to destroy him. then after the gym battle, when you talk to giovanni [after defeating him] he just "magically vanishes". i mean how the hell does that gym even continue to run with no gym leader, and the members there act as if he never left. plus gold and silver mention silvers connection to giovanni [is it me or did silvers hair oddly have a close resemblance to like a fusion of jessie and james' hair?]. so my theory is that, "did mewtwo actually 'kill' giovanni and like posess his mind? or like create a psychic image of him? plus if giovanni was the only one to have "discovered" the fissure tm, if he were to pass on without teaching it to anyone it would make sense for why fissure never made it to gen II tm list. cause, well, the ONLY one who discovered, created, and gave it out is either missing or dead. and i doubt he would just run off without teaching a protege the move. so, did mewtwo actually kill giovanni and replace him? and for that matter, where was mewtwo during the time before he went to cerulean cave? if a whole freaking laboratory couldnt contain mewtwo, how could some dude with no pokemon [or anything really] keep mewtwo in the cave? maybe mewtwo actually killed giovanni and used a transformation to take his place in the attempt to learn of ghost types [as they were the one type to be able to hurt mewtwo] and to find the master ball so as to catch any pokemon who might oppose him [or maybe to research it]. if mewtwo failed in his first major plan [which apparently the pokemon first movie is canonical], then maybe mewtwo came up with a better plan. maybe he actually killed giovanni, but used his psychic abilities to wipe the minds of anyone involved and create false ones. i mean, what the hell is the reason mewtwo is even in cerulean cave? maybe, oh, idk, cause the fact of what he did with giovanni and all those he hurt was overwhelming and he decided that solitary isolation from any who he could assiciate with was kind of his, "punsihment". see, cerulean cave was blocked by some dude nobody knew, and who somehow KNEW when you became champion. if he were waiting solely for the champion, then why not gary [blue]? he beat the elite four before you. maybe mewtwo actually WAS disguised as giovanni after unintentionally killing him in his testing, and knowing that you [and ONLY you] were handed the master ball, that only YOU would have the power to catch him and TRULY control him. perhaps this is why mewtwo isolated itself within the deepest bowels of cerulean cave, becuase the odds of even the elite four themselves getting ten feet in [before all the elctrodes blew them the f**k up] were like a million to one. and even IF a trainer reached him, they would have like ZERO chance to capture him. thus meaning that cerulean cave was mewtwos act of "punishment" for his crimes, and he placed himself in an impossible place to reach alive. plus he looks to be a stone statue in rbyg, in a state of stasis. so maybe he went there to meditate in peace to learn more about his existence. the best place to meditate would be a place where one can avoid interruptions and also seek ways to become stronger. these reasons are why i believe that mewtwo may have done something with giovanni. another theory: sun and moon are actually an alternate reality or another dimension/universe now with rainbow rockets appearance in the ultra series giovanni makes a reappearance. why would this not debunk the mewtwo theory? well sun and moon involve four rather "odd" aspects that hint to the fact that aloha is actually kind of a pocket dimension. the wormholes, the ultra beasts that use them, the odd way that kanto pokemon somehow gain new forms, and the fact that [somehow] the alohan region HAS NO CHAMPION. and now with the ultra release we add a few new strange aspects pointing even further to pocket dimensions and/or parallel universes. the ultra wormholes, the ability to TRAVEL TO FREAKING OUTER SPACE, the sudden reintroduction to giovanni AND team rocket, and of course the major dealy: FUCKING MEWTWO. a legendary last seen in red, blue- oh wait- i mean X AND Y. and with zyguard being integral to aloha my best guess is that this may be finishing the unfinished story from x/y and the universe referenced in omega ruby/alpha sapphire. btw if you are not familiar here is the summary: a huge meteor is headed towards earth. team [giant-garchomp-water-shark-torpedo-head] and team [gaint-useless-flaiming-camel-who-gets-one-shot] are attempting to awaken the respective legendary [giant blue whale who hates noa]/[giant-clawfortail-what-the-f**k-even-am-i?]. by awakening the legendary and using the orbs of gen I power, they plan to rip open a void and send the meteor hurtling into another dimension/universe/time. this is referred to by [dick-who-faps-to-an-iron-maiden] and how it would have simply both doomed another world just like their own and delayed the inevitable. this other time/universe/dimension may in fact be being referred to the x/y universe and the war fought over [murdered on phonics]. or referring to the alohan universe. further proof that sun/moon is an alternate dimension/universe is the storyline states that arceus created all that is, which INCLUDES the SUN AND MOON. yet in aloha it is stated that the two legendary created/represent the sun and moon respectively. also more proof is that while sun/moon are effectively the same place they have inverted day/night cycles. how could this occur unless they were parallel universes located on a split dimensional plane with one other universe located between them? the final fact is that the ONLY other game to reference "space" is the ruby and sapphire line. and omega ruby/alpha sapphire use "wormholes" [albeit created by hoopa unbound.... SOMEHOW]. the hoopa wormholes and ultra wormholes allow access to legendary's, soo where TF are these legendary's coming from? giratina exists ONLY in the distortion realm. are you freaking telling me that hoopa and necrozema have the power to LITERALLY RIP OPEN THE FABRIC OF SPACE TIME?! wait, no wonder you need those two. still...

official WORKING pokemon leaf green "infinite move tutor" action replay/gameshark code - [allows INFINITE USE of ALL in game move tutors]

ok so it is time for another bit of info that nobody seemed to be able to find. i found an actual working code for pokemon leaf green gba [english] that allows infinite use of all in game move tutors. the code resets all the tutors upon pressing a button sequence and entering/exiting a building/cave.

infinite move tutor [press L+R+SEL to reset move tutors]:
7023ACB1 213A728E [this works] or 02266464 00000000
alt:
13BEEFC6 9A1ABD27 or 12066464 00000000
k101:
82066464 0000 [this also works]

i tested the code. you simply use the move tutor [like the one to teach mega punch after mt. moon], then you have to enter a building [or exit the building/room/cave where the tutor is]. the important factor is that you MUST enter/exit an entrance for the code to work. [i will do an edit after trying the mt. moon and rock tunnel tutors, as they involve ENTERING a cave and using a ladder.]
regardless, the cheat is simple: activate it in the game, use the move tutor, go enter/exit a nearby building/cave/ladder, then press [L+R+SELECT], then return back to the tutor. using this code you can get infinite use from all in game move tutors. i will update this post with less complex details if the process is simpler.
[edit 11022017]
checked mt. moon. you can simply use the code by entering then exiting the cave near the two tutors at the end [outside the entrance]. so entering caves CONFIRMED.
