dont waste money on youtube red, and dont waste precious time on annoying ads! [hacks for youtube!]

ok so i figure i should post about this, since clearly i am not the only person annoyed at the inability to both avoid ads on youtube AND freely download the videos i like.
actually. that was a lie. i DONT waste time on idiotic ads and i NEVER pay youtube dick diddly to download content.
frankly charging people to download content created by the public for the public on a service maintained under the basis of public access and free creation is PLAIN WRONG. it is no different than if you walked into a courthouse, an office, a library, or records room and the place was decked out with poster ads, and signup sheets. and some are, which is a violation.
when people create content on youtube they are loading something they made for the purpose of having others view it and be entertained, educated, or warned. youtube red takes advantage of youtubes creators as it is effectively selling tickets to a show, and then every three minutes the concert is interrupted as five finger death punch is shoved offstage so someone you dont know or give two sh*ts about can talk to you about a mobile app none of you have heard of, a car none of you want, and a fast food place that everyone hates [yeah THAT fast food place].
these reasons are not bad enough, that now if you want to take the content for viewing offline or on the go you must pay youtube red.
this might as well be the people who just shoved taylor swift off the stage now holding everyone at the concert at gunpoint who owns a phone, regardless of whether they plan on using the camera to record.
this is why i use IDM or internet download manager and adblock.
idm's webpage can be found here:
http://internetdownloadmanager.com/
it looks basic because that is what it is. it is the best video download tool that exists, and while you will need to buy after the free trial expires a full liscence key for one computer has a minimal lifetime cost. just go here:
https://secure.internetdownloadmanager.com/buy_idm.html
it costs $25.00 for a lifetime key that never expires, and even if you swap computers you can keep uing the same key. as the key you buy will deactivate on any old compters it was used once you use it on your new current computer.
idm is safe and easy to install, use, and run and can dowload from nearly anywhere on the web. idm even can download files, documents, and music and entire webpages. it has a download icon pop up in the screen that gives you file size, type, quality, and variations. by clicking over the download icon it tells you your options and you can choose whatever is available. and yes you can use it to download !@$& and !#$@! in case you were wondering.
more importantly idm can have downloads canceled, stopped, and resumed at any time and downloads files in segments so you dont lose any quality or amount. it also allows you to organize downlowds to specific folders so that you have some things going one place and others going another.
idm is also compatible with every type of browser so no worries regardless of what you use.

adblock is better known and can be downloaded from the chrome store.
make sure you get the adblock listed in THIS image:
[see the TOP one for the CORRECT adblock, as this is the one you want from the extension store.]

adblock is great. doesnt cost a damn thing and blocks all the annoying ads, clickbait, video advertisements, side scrolling bar ads, and clips that interrupt your precious online tv time. adblock is simple, easy to use, and you can even PERSONALLY select any ads that may come through its filters and block them yourself.
adbloack can even sometimes allow you to bypass popups that occur when trying to view links. you know the ones. the pop ups that are like "hey bitch, you wanna see this page and [read/watch/listen/etc.] you gotta click through THIS bs". well adblock can be used to block things like this, and combined with IDM [internet download manager] you can sometimes download the content to view later.
adblock is especially great when trying to use youtube. as they allow "fake links" that are just ads disguised into the list of videos on the side/lower bars [depending on zoom/device settings]. youtube also allows [or rather forces] moneytization [the BAD kind] wherin they place ads in content to make money off yours and everyone elses hard work. now im all for a free and open market without opression or descrimination, but when the market starts taking the goods you sell and giving them away they for their own purposes they cross a line.

what you may not understand about moneytization in youtube videos is that this is the youtube company, a busniess that literally is founded on letting everyone else do all the work, coming in and making money off of other peoples hard work. this probably does not matter to you.
but if you spent six months building a car and then some stranger came up and said that you have to pay them becuase you built the car in a garage owned by a bank they manage how would you feel?
or heres something more at home: you buy an iphone, you buy a case, screen protector, and protection plan. then you are face timeing when apple says that because you bught the phone in their store that you pay them for your face time and allow them to take your face time videos and play them to fat disgusting out of shape people because "they think" that seeing a thin attractive woman will help people work out.
crazy? NO, because THIS is how moneytization works. youtube says that despite all the hard work you put into making your content, including sponsors, recording, editing, modifying, and posting; THEY have the right to make money off it.
do you LOVE lazy people? welchers? how about those people on the streets begging who actually arent even homeless who are fauxbos with houses and rich families? what about those REAL homeless people who beg you as you leave the grocery store? do you like paying taxes? how about that one ex [friend or otherwise] who did nothing but mooch from you till you had near nothing left and they called you out for kicking them to the curb?
if you answered "yes" to any of these questions then you obviously LOVE using youtube and its subsidiaries as they are. if you answered "no" then why do you allow youtube to make money off all your hard work when they, quite literally, sit around doing nothing but threatening you if you refuse? i fight every claim against me that is even the slightest bit immoral with about five pages of legal text and constituional law as well as a personal essay about intellectual property theft and taking advantage of those less fortunate and powerful than youtube.

it is also, why i use adblock and IDM, as i will not allow a company founded by lazyness and taking advantage of others hard work [45% of your money for them just adding a few ads? no.] hold me hostage and extort me for either my hard earned limited funds or my time.
you can fight back against claims if you can speak well for yourself in text. but the real fight is against the advertisers and youtube itself. dont pay for youtube red if it is just to download content, that is just a waste of your hard earned cash.
and if youtube moneytizes your videos or files a claim against you and you feel it was wrong, dont just take it like a helpless ant. fight back! try disputing the claim, worst that could happen is they reply or take the video down and you have to reupload it. most times they refuse to fight back if you try to defend your own content. they have too many people to deal with, and sometimes they just drop the claim.
