Nintendo has come out with a new style of ds called the 3ds. It’s massive in size and has amazing graphics, but really isn’t worth the trade in just yet. For one thing they haven’t made very many games for the 3ds. For another, there’s no cheat devices made either, and you can’t use any previous cheat devices. The 3ds is extremely expensive and if you trade in your old ds you’re pretty much screwed on all counts for all old games.

I got one and was pissed immediately. To use the Wi-Fi you need to manually turn it on and off. Adding to frustrations the 3ds still has very few good games for it. If you DO plan to get a 3ds make sure to buy ocarina of time and/or the link between worlds. Mario games are also a good choice.

It’s not that I hate the 3ds, more that I prefer to play games the hard way and then replay with crazy fun cheats. The 3ds still has no action replay for it, though they have modified the current action replay so that you can use the regular ds games and play them with cheat codes.
