"war is a black widow"
destiny tangles us inside its web. its only when we follow the black widow that we find the quickest path through life. meanwhile we pass our friends, enemies, family, values, hopes, and dreams to die in a poisoned oblivion void of all hope and light. THIS is war, a path that forces the closest of comrades to become the bitterest of enemies. a land sodded and built on top of the bones of the lost and whose temples are lost under the sands of time. in the end war leads to ruin and eternal despair. we kill our friends, betray our families, and walk blindly into the belly of the beast. we follow the black widow and one day we die, become the land our future generations will inevitably bring to ash. war is the black widow; time is our reaper. in the final moment of combat when we head into the unknown trail of tears. is it really worth it? is the cost of a soul nothing more than a bomb of betrayal waiting to explode? when you peer into the mirror what do you see? a man? a monster? a beacon of hope? or do we all try to see something that doesn't exist so that we don't have to face our inner demons? I see nami hikaru; what do YOU see?
